Preface: I bought this book for nursing school, and I saved a good 80 bucks buying it here. A brand-new textbook for $4.00...I think it's marvelous. X)Pros: It was new and still in it's wrapping. It was exactly as advertised. It was very cheap.Cons: Not a single one...too bad I can't blame them for the class itself being useless. :)Service: It was shipped/received on time. It was packaged appropriately. No further service was needed, so I have no idea about customer service, which is exactly how I like it.Overall: I give this product 5 stars for being exactly as advertised, and shipped on-time. I would buy it again if the need arose, and I recommend it to anyone who needs/wants this textbook.Thoughts: I always buy one edition behind whatever the most recent one is. It's the same information, just rearranged, and quite seriously 5-10 times cheaper. The exception is any kind of a work-book, as you will need to have the same problems and page numbers as the instructor.
The book has good information but the index is so useless. You have to read the whole section or chapter to get one information.
This is the best deal, my university book store had this for $54.00 to rent, this book is brand new and it’s for rent for $14.98 you really can’t beat this deal.

This book is required for my second year nursing courses. As far as nursing textbooks go, this one is a pretty easy read. I like how it highlights key terms in each chapter. I also bought the older edition of the book and the current edition and I found them to be identical. I sold the newer edition and kept the older one and it is working out just fine for me.

Useful for school.
I would not typically find such a book all that wonderful however, as part of my required reading for my nursing program,I found it quite informative and in some cases eye opening. Many nursing students get hung up on the hands on portion of our work and fail to understand why we do what we do, or the importance of doing it correctly. The legal issues presented in this text help to illuminate the importance of covering ones back-side.
